Community Council

Event:

The community council consists of persons with I/DD, family members or guardians, and representatives of affiliate agencies who express opinions, make suggestions and recommendations to the governing board of the CDDO concerning any service issues including:

• The types of services offered by the providers in the service area

• The manner in which those services are provided The council is also responsible for development and implementation of a dispute resolution procedure and overseeing the development, implementation and progress for local capacity building plans. 

Community Council meetings occur the second Thursday of every 3 months. Meetings are held at the Point Events Center 2101 Dearborn Augusta in the training room (Zoom is also available).
